CMA is currently working with an international business in Hedge End who are considered a UK industry leader within their sector. The Payroll & HR Administrator will be responsible for the payroll function in the main along with supporting with some ad hoc HR administration duties. You will work with a third party payroll provider who will process the payroll across multiple sites but you will assume responsibility for inputting the payroll. It is essential that you have strong payroll experience with an understanding of the deductions and statutory payments and legislation in order to flag variances and errors within the process. This role is office based but will offer flexi hours.What will the Payroll & HR Administrator role involve?
- Maintaining and checking the monthly payroll input for two UK entities.
- Working with the payroll provider, you will input the payroll, manage the approval flows, meeting compliance requirements with Finance and generate required reports.
- Check and reconcile the Time & Attendance system including tracking the overtime and approvals within the system.
- Administer employee benefits, including new joiner enrolments, leavers, benefit costs and pension.
- Manage any payroll queries.
- Administer personnel related documentation and support the onboarding process for all new starters.
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll & HR Administrator
- Demonstrative experience of processing and maintaining a payroll system.
- Good technical understanding of payroll legislation, statutory payments and deductions.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, a real team player with a strong team ethos.
