Te-Tech is part of the Trant Engineering Group and at Te-Tech, we design, custom build and install a wide range of high-quality control panels, motor control centres (MCCs) and automation systems. We offer conventional, intelligent and withdrawable systems with outstanding reliability and functionality and deliver within the water, power and energy sectors.

We are currently looking for wiremen/women to join our workshop, based at our Head Office in Southampton. This is a full-time position working 45 hours each week. The working hours are 07:30 17:00, Monday to Friday.

As part of a team building control panels predominantly for the water, power and petrochemical industries, responsibilities include;

  • Building bespoke panels on your own or as part of a team
  • Working to instructions and/or electrical drawings The Wire person will be able to understand and read instructions, schematics and technical drawings
  • Loom wiring, panel build soldering and machine wiring
  • Working with simple hand and crimp tools

Skills/qualifications:

  • Experience of working as a Wireman/Wire woman, within panel building
  • Able to use simple hand and crimp tools
  • Be confident working to production deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • A history of working within the water, energy or power advantageous
