Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher looking for a role as Curriculum Leader MFL?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a dynamic and inspiring middle leader to lead the next phase of curriculum development for a talented MFL Team within a large Secondary School based in Southampton.

The school is an improving school and is part of a highly successful multi-academy trust. The school aim to become an outstanding school where pupils are proud, confident and self-aware, and are determined to do their very best. The team currently hold the vision of ‘Love of Languages and language learning’, and aim to provide an exciting and engaging curriculum to keep pupils enthused by the subjects.

As the Curriculum Leader of MFL, you will be required to teach all abilities across KS3 and KS4 to the highest standards. You will provide an engaging learning experience for pupils and show a passion for your subject. You will share the ambition of community transformation, delivered by exceptional education at the heart of the community.

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop their role working in collaboration with the other Academies in Southampton. You must be able to use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students and demonstrate a commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. We are looking for a passionate teacher who shares our desire for the highest academic standards for young people.

For this role, you will be/will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field and hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have a passion to help students achieve their very best, and provide them with the best possible learning experience
  • Able to teach KS3/4 Religious Studies and have good subject knowledge
  • Available as soon as possible for a permanent, full time position
  • Open to continue to assist in the growth of improvement within the school, giving you the opportunity to put a stamp on the progress within the school
