A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a school in the Southampton area. This part-time role, starting in January 2025, is ideal for an enthusiastic individual committed to enhancing students' engagement, progress, and exam results in science.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Organise and lead STEM-related events, competitions, and projects to foster a culture of exploration and innovation.
- Collaborate with external organisations to provide enriching opportunities, such as guest speakers, workshops, and career insights into STEM fields.
- Encourage students to engage with STEM subjects inside and outside the classroom, helping them see the relevance of STEM for their future careers.
- Support the development of extra-curricular STEM activities and opportunities for students to thrive.
- A qualified Science Teacher with a strong passion for STEM education.
- Experience in leading or coordinating educational projects or initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A collaborative, innovative mindset, dedicated to enhancing student engagement and academic achievement.
- A desire to inspire students and contribute to an inclusive, supportive school environment.
