This is your opportunity to join an expanding Fintech in Southampton that values the growth of their employees' careers and supports and encourages growth. The role is varied and the person will be able to get their teeth stuck into various tasks and projects if they wish to do so, offering a well-rounded exposure to the whole business as well as good HR experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general administration such as printing, scanning, filing, archiving, drafting relevant paperwork, organising meetings, etc.
  • Support the P&C team in various projects as and when required.
  • To assist with the administration associated with the entire employee life cycle processes (onboarding, off-boarding, contractual changes etc.), including drafting and issuing contracts of employment and probation review letters, background checks, referencing, removing permissions in the systems and ensuring probations are managed.
  • Administrative support with benefits management.
  • Maintain the P&C system with relevant records, reports and documents to ensure a smooth operation of the processes.
  • Help with the organisation of the company-wide social events
  • Note taking and typing notes where required;
  • Assist the HR Advisor with recruitment, including liaising with agencies, shortlisting, setting up interviews, and providing candidates/ agencies with feedback;
  • Maintain accurate records for all colleagues and contractors in line with the UK GDPR regulations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on their own as well as part of the team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibly in order to meet deadlines and any last-minute requests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Computer literacy
  • Enthusiasm to learn & Proactive
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Previous administrative experience is desirable.
