Job Title: Quality Manager
Shift: Day Shift - 39 Hours per week - Monday to Thursday (Friday off!)
Rate: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Area: Southampton, Hampshire
Purpose of the job:
This is a superb opportunity for a Quality Manager to lead all aspects of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement for a growing precision engineering group. They will also consider someone who is currently a Quality Engineer to step up to this level.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with the relevant standards.
- Review existing procedures to ensure they meet current guidelines
- Maintaining documentation of procedural changes
- Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders
- Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards
- Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other standards
- All aspects of QA
- Internal and external audits and resulting corrective action
- Risk Management Activities
- Customer Feedback management
Specification:
- Proactive approach to work.
- Forward thinking
- In depth knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100
- Experience in working with NADCAP approvals.
- Experience in working with APQP & PPAP techniques IAW AS9145 and FAIR AS9102
