A highly regarded full-service law firm are seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Solicitor to join their office in Southampton. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad client base, national and international clients across public, private and third sectors. You will be handing a mix of contentious and non-contentious and working primarily supporting Employer clients.

Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of employment law issues.
- Conducting negotiations, mediations and settlement discussions on behalf of clients.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancy procedures and employment dismissals.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in employment legislation and proactively advising clients on the implications for their business.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2years' PQE in employment law.
- Experience in handling both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Solid understanding of UK employment legislation case law, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide commercially-focused advice to clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Competent IT skills.
