Job Title: Category Manager (Estates and Facilities)

Location:  Southampton

Daily Rate: £400 - £600

Job Type: Interim (6 months, with potential for extension)

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Hybrid working - one day onsite)

Job Profile:

  • Oversee procurement activities within the Estates and Facilities category, including Residences, Construction works, and Hard and Soft FM.
  • Provide robust procurement advice, guidance, and support to customers, suppliers, and managers.
  • Undertake procurement procedures and letting contracts.
  • Prepare procurement strategies and implement a wide range of supply, service, consultancy and works procurement arrangements
  • Set up frameworks and longer-term Soft and Hard FM arrangements.

Specification:

  • Strong procurement background with MCIPS qualification.
  • Experience in construction procurement, particularly in a public sector/HE environment.
  • Experience with call-offs from key consultancy and construction frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the RIBA plan of work 2020.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
