Aspiring Assistant Site Manager or experienced Site Manager required to work for a regional business to lead refurbishment & restoration projects.

A commercial fit-out, refurbishment and building contractor who are also a principle contractor in their field. They are specialists within office refurb, education, healthcare. dentists practices. leisure and industrial. Due to some exciting new projects and a large portfolio of works we are requiring experienced Site Managers to join them on a permanent basis. Are you an experienced and highly skilled Site Manager seeking a new challenge? We are looking for dedicated Site Managers to oversee and coordinate all aspects of their projects, ensuring their successful completion within the allocated time frame.

Site Manager`s key responsibilities:

- Take charge of the overall management and supervision of the project, from initiation to final handover

- Regular meetings with the Construction Director to review progress on site

- Monitor progress and ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget, making necessary adjustments as required

- Implement and enforce stringent health and safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment for all personnel on site

- Work with the Procurement Team to manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality

- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment

- Prepare regular progress reports, highlight any issues or risks, and propose effective solutions to address them

- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve any potential issues or deviations from the project plan

Site Manager`s Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, specifically in overseeing construction or refurbishment projects

- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment

- Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure

- Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS)
