We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking for a skilled Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer to work in their welding machine workshop.
About this role:
- Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Working hours 08:00am- 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment
- Inspect machines when they return from hire to check for any faults.
- Prepare machines to be ready for hire, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Ensure all safety standards are adhered to while performing maintenance and repairs
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering
- Experience with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly desirable
- Agricultural experience would be considered an additional advantage
- Forklift engineering experience is also a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
