We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our client's welding machine workshop team.

Role Overview:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (No weekends)
  • Location: Southampton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment.
  • Inspect returned machines, identifying and resolving any faults.
  • Prepare machines for hire, ensuring they are fully operational and in top condition.
  • Adhere to safety standards while performing maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient workflow and deliver high-quality service.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly beneficial.
  • Agricultural experience is a plus.
  • Forklift engineering knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to safety.
