They provide extensive services for the installation, commissioning, service & overhaul of rotating equipment and due to a heavy workload, they are now looking to add a Mechanical Technician to their team in Southampton.The Ideal candidate will be a time served, qualified Fitter / Technician & will have the ability to get security clearance & site passports to work on a Petrochem site, alongside previous experience in the overhaul of rotating equipment including Pumps, Valves & Turbines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Technician looking for a site-based Monday - Friday position. Installation, Refurbishment & Overhaul of rotating equipment
Working on Pumps, Valves & turbines
Adhering to strict health & safety guidelines
Working to tight deadlines

The Person:

NVQ 3 Qualified with previous working on the installation, service & maintenance of rotating equipment
Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry or a similar working environment
Good working knowledge of Pumps, Gearboxes, Fans, Mixers, Motors, Valves, Turbines bearings, seals, alignments
A good communicator & a team player
Ability to get security clearance & safety passports
