Position: Class 1 Tramper Driver

About Our Client: We are excited to offer opportunities for three experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our esteemed client, a well-established company in the Southampton area.
Key Duties:
- Container work (minimum 6 months experience required)
- Day driving with overnight stays in the truck (up to Mon-Fri, not always nights out)
- Consistent sleep pattern (day driving and night sleeping)
- UK-wide travel
- Accessing Southampton docks (DP World Card required) costs £50 if you want to apply for one online.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary
- £25 overnight allowance per night out
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license
- Minimum 6 months of container work experience
- DP World Card (mandatory for dock access)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to work independently and manage long-distance driving
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
Responsibilities:
- Safe and timely delivery of containers
- Adherence to road safety regulations and company policies
- Vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues
- Accurate record-keeping and communication with the team
