Your new companyMy exclusive client is a small company which has a friendly, committed team with many years specialist experience providing support and education to young people. The business is ambitious with plans to grow headcount and open new sites in the next 12 months.Your new roleDue to their recent success and subsequent growth, this agile company is keen to add support to their team by hiring a dedicated, organised HR Assistant on a part-time (30 hours / week) permanent basis in Southampton. You must have a flexible approach and a willingness to change direction or focus in this varied, exciting new role as the business evolves in the coming months and years. This opportunity will suit someone who has a positive mindset and will share the ambition of the team who aim to offer young people the chance to gain a wide range of qualifications through bespoke learning.This position offers part-time hours (30 / week over 4 days) and hybrid working - 3 office vs 1 WFH or 2 office vs 2 WFH (ideally Monday-Thursday or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday each week). They are also flexible around start / finish times. Please note an Enhanced DBS check is required.What you'll need to succeedThis position will support the business with general HR administration, recruitment and onboarding (including DBS checks), managing employee files and processes, training and a variety of other responsibilities as required.
