Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs? A unique and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a SEMH Primary Teacher to join a school in Southampton, starting January 2024.

As an SEMH Primary Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges.
Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to each child's development.
Use creative strategies to inspire and motivate children, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
Monitor and assess progress, maintaining detailed and effective records.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with SEMH needs or similar challenges.
A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and strategies for managing challenging behavior.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable pupils.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
