QUALITY INSPECTOR AND ASSEMBLER

The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection. Experience with Marine Turbocharger arena

Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Detailed inspection of all components upon entry using onsite precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers etc…
  • Pre-process and final inspection checks of assembled components
  • Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role)
  • Balancing of rotors
  • Calibration logging of tooling and inspection
  • Recording information for audit purposes
  • Carrying out internal audits (this item is progressive and will be taught within the role)
  • Traceability and process improvement management

The following skills are required

  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines.
  • Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team.
