Are you a Test Development Engineer with strong VB.Net, Visual Basic (VB6), and ideally LabVIEW skills? Do you enjoy automating test processes and working hands-on with electronic test equipment? We are looking for an engineer to develop and optimize Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions, supporting manufacturing operations in a high-tech environment.

About the Role

As a Test Development Engineer, you will:
?Develop and maintain test automation software using VB.Net, Visual Basic (VB6), and ideally LabVIEW.
? Design and support ATE systems for manufacturing, ensuring efficient and reliable testing.
? Work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Engineering to implement test solutions for New Product Introduction (NPI).
? Troubleshoot and optimize software and electronic test hardware at both system and component levels.
? Support high-power electronic systems, ensuring safety-critical interlocking and compliance.
? Provide manufacturing support, ensuring test processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What Were Looking For

??Essential:

  • Strong programming experience in VB.Net and Visual Basic (VB6) for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging electronic test systems.
  • ETA (Electronic Test Automation) design and troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production support environment.
  • Ability to create test documentation and risk assessments.

??Desirable:

  • LabVIEW programming experience for additional automation capabilities.
  • Experience with National Instruments hardware and test interfaces.
  • Knowledge of I2C, RS232, CANBUS, and SQL database interaction.
  • Experience designing 19 rack-mounted enclosures for test equipment.
  • Exposure to high-power electronic or optical systems.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools (including Visio).
