Role Responsibilities:

• To learn how to manage and monitor the assigned project plan, associated budget, costs and contract terms, with support from surveyor / senior surveyor as appropriate.

• Liaison with Surveyor / Senior Surveyor and Senior Project Manager.

• Liaison with Financial Controller, Procurement Manager and Estimator.

• Valuation of works and collation of associated documentation for inclusion in CVR, cash flow forecast and sales forecast.

• Learn to monitor and manage orders, deliveries and invoicing of materials

• Learn to monitor and manage sub-contractor orders, approvals and payments

• Learn to manage valuations and associated documentation

• Gain familiarity with budget from Estimating department

• Provide information to enable updating of sales forecast, cash flow forecast and CVR

• Attend site meetings as required

• Manage own workload and priorities

• Complete technical qualifications.

• Provide assistance to all commercial and contract team members to ensure profit is maximised throughout the Project. Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical – working towards industry qualification eg IOB, RICS or degree.

• Strong interest and/or experience in a the construction industry

• CSCS card – visitor’s card or as required by client

• DBS checked as required for specific sites.

• Competent user MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook email and calendars.
