Receptionist/Administrator - Southampton - £25,000-£26,000 - on site Monday to Friday - Full time hours

This is a temp to perm opportunity

We are collaborating with one of Southampton's leading employers to recruit an experienced Receptionist/Administrator. This role will be integral to supporting a dynamic and fast-paced team while serving as the welcoming face of the company. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department, as well as providing professional reception coverage to greet and assist VIP clients.

Duties include:

  • Welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Manage the visitor sign-in process and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including document management, invoicing, and ordering supplies
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Support with upcoming events
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
