Accounts Assistant + Full and Part Time Hours + Parking

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team with the option of either full time or part time hours. You will play a vital role in supporting the Finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting processes.

The role of the Accounts Assistant includes:

- Cashiering: Assisting in preparations prior to banking activity, downloading bank statements, preparing banking receipts and payments for allocation, posting nominal ledger journals, carrying out daily bank reconciliation, and handling cash and cheque receipts.

- Sales Ledger Support: Monitoring the shared email inbox, answering phone calls, and dealing with inquiries, sending copy invoices, raising, and updating queries, reviewing Point of Sale credit limit overrides, and chasing debt when required.

- Purchase Ledger Support: Monitoring the shared email inbox, registering supplier invoices, supporting staff with supplier invoice issues, setting up new accounts, reconciling supplier statements, setting up payment runs, and ensuring proper order numbers on all invoices.
