Pay: £150 - £230 per day

Job Description:

As an Art Teacher, you will inspire students to express themselves through various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. The ideal candidate will be passionate about art education and dedicated to fostering a love of creativity in students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in a school that values artistic development. The role will be teaching Art to students in KS3 and KS4, working in a supportive Art department. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Art lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to explore and experiment with various art forms.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, supporting their artistic growth and confidence.
  • Build positive relationships with students, fostering their development in both technical and creative skills.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment during all lessons and practical activities.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring that all learners can succeed in the subject.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the creative arts.
