We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Southampton. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in accordance with the curriculum and school policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students to achieve their best.
- Monitor and track the progress of individual students, providing timely feedback and support where necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Maths department.
- Participate in school activities, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level, though early career teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the Maths curriculum confidently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
- Enthusiasm for education and a genuine desire to inspire young people.
