We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Southampton. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in accordance with the curriculum and school policies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students to achieve their best.
  • Monitor and track the progress of individual students, providing timely feedback and support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Maths department.
  • Participate in school activities, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level, though early career teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the Maths curriculum confidently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
