Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our Client primary school in Southampton (SO19).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple year groups to cover teacher absences.
  • Plan, mark, and assess pupils' work.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with experience teaching in a school setting (permanent or supply roles).
  • Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is mandatory. If you haven't completed this within the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide a free course to ensure compliance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate: An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service is required or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Professional References: Two child-related professional references covering the past two years are essential.
