Our client, a leading aerospace company, is currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker for a contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with significant experience in the aerospace industry, particularly working with thin aluminium and aero components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Utilising a variety of hand and power tools to cut, form, and assemble metal parts
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to complete projects
- Inspecting finished products for accuracy and conformity to standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience with sheetmetal work, particularly in the aerospace sector
- Proficiency in handling thin aluminium
- Understanding of aero component fabrication
- Current experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Contract Details:
- Outside IR35
- 6-month contract
