TeacherActive is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to connecting talented educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently recruiting for two experienced Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Southampton, starting in September 2024.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional help.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and development of the students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school is essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the students and school.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
