We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Temporary Stores Person / Warehouse Operative at our client’s new facility in Southampton. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in warehouse or stores, and an interest or experience within a boat building environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock tracking.
Assist on the shop floor and with the storeroom setup.
Operate forklift trucks (FLT) around the shop floor to manage materials and products efficiently.
Receive goods and monitor stock levels of shop floor provisions.
Perform general yard upkeep and maintenance.
Assist the Stores Manager with additional duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in a similar role - warehousing / stores / boats/marine
Proficiency in managing inventory and operating forklift trucks.
Basic IT skills for managing inventory systems.
Forklift license is essential.
Handyman skills for general maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of hand and power tools.
