Trainee Quality Technician. Career start opportunity to a technically minded person to train as an NDT quality Inspector. (NDT inspection is the Non-Destructive testing of materials and parts for mechanical strength using a variety of scientific methods (Please research it - I will ask if you are shortlisted!).

You will be trained with a view to put you through formal qualifications to enable you to grow and develop in the role. You should be motivated to start a career in engineering

The company are a respected aviation/ aerospace company who repair and test aviation components.

Full initial training given but the role will then involve the following:

  • Assist in conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) on components parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Learn to interpret and evaluate NDT results to identify defects or anomalies in materials
  • Support the quality team in documenting and reporting inspection findings accurately
  • Assist in maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring calibration and maintenance schedules are followed
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical interest in engineering/science
  • Desire to start a career in engineering
