We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Intelligence Analyst to spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of our Business Intelligence solutions. This role is crucial in our three-phase transformation strategy aimed at modernizing our BI systems, integrating advanced data reporting, and incorporating AI into our BI solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director and IT & Development teams as part of our digital transformation programme.
Day-to-day of the role:

MI, Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain management information (MI) reporting and dashboards.
- Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights using BI tools and AI techniques.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making and provide strategic insights.

Business Intelligence Solution Development:
- Lead the design and development of cloud-based BI solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Implement AI technologies to enhance BI functionality.

Data Integration & Management:
- Integrate diverse data sources into the BI solution, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Establish a robust data dictionary and a cloud-based data warehouse with the Finance Director.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest AI and BI trends and technologies.
- Suggest enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in MI, BI, or Data & Analytics roles.
- Expertise with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and ETL processes; familiarity with other data manipulation languages is a plus.
- Experience or a keen interest in AI tools and platforms, such as Snowflake.
- Demonstrated success in implementing data architecture frameworks and integrating cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in financial services, particularly insurance, is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
