Red Recruitment is recruiting a Sales Manager to join our client, one of the UK's leading Travel Insurance Specialists with an exceptional 4.8 STAR Trustpilot rating.
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Sales Team Manager to drive operational excellence and lead a team of Sales Agents to deliver an optimum level of service to our customers.
You will possess a proven track record of engaging with, motivating, and proactively managing a sales team and ideally have experience of working in a FCA regulated environment.
Benefits and Package for a Sales Manager:
Salary: up to 40,000 per annum with Realistic OTE of 7000 per year in commission.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 8pm
- 1 early a week 8.30 - 5pm
- 1 late a week, 11.30 - 8pm
- 1 in 4 weekends, Saturday OR Sunday
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Manager:
- Coach and develop staff using performance management tools to successfully meet and improve upon key performance indicators and personal objectives.
- Ensure you remain up to date with procedures/processes, products, new schemes and/or scheme changes and communicate these effectively to your team.
- Assist with the recruitment process, acquire the most suitable calibre candidate for role, promoting an excellent brand image.
- Produce Management Information in relation to agent activity which will help identify any coaching and development needs required to assist agents to meet their KPIs.
- Effectively communicate technical, client, customer, service and system related issues or staff related issues to your direct line manager providing recommendations for swift resolutions.
- Handle complaints in line with our complaint handling process.
- Monitor, record and effectively manage absence and time keeping issues in line with Company procedures.
- Document and deliver monthly 1:1's ensuring objectives are recorded and monitored, coaching plans are defined, monitored and documented providing an audit trail.
Key Skills and Experience of a Sales Manager:
- Ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Sales Team Manager within a contact centre environment or within banking
- Managed a team of 10 plus
