Building Surveyor - Pathway to Partnership for the Right Candidate

An independent construction consultancy with over 40 years of industry expertise is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their accomplished team of 22, comprising both Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and self-sufficient Building Surveyor to take on a role with clear progression towards partnership as part of a structured succession plan.



The succesful Building Surveyor Role

The successful Building Surveyor will handle a broad range of services, with a strong focus on contract administration and specification writing.

Working mainly on commercial property projects, including clients such as the Royal Mail, you will join a collaborative team environment where your growth and development are actively supported.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver contract administration and specification writing services for a range of commercial projects
  • Work closely with a diverse client base, including high-profile names within the commercial sector
  • Collaborate with an experienced team while demonstrating self-sufficiency in managing project tasks
  • Take on increasing leadership responsibilities with a clear path to partnership


The Ideal Building Surveyor

  • MRICS qualified (preferred but not essential)
  • RICS-accredited degree
  • Solid experience within a construction consultancy environment
  • Strong proficiency in contract administration and specification writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
