gap healthcare is supporting our client who is seeking a Deputy Manager for their residential care services.

Our client is a small organisation who is registered with CQC, they provide residential care for people with learning disabilities across several locations within Westcliff On Sea, Essex. 

As Deputy Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of care for the service users and manage the day-to-day operations of the homes in the absence of the manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the care provided to service users, ensuring their health and dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, service users, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage budgets and adhere to HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive image of the homes within the community.
  • Supervise and train staff to uphold standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader/Deputy.
  • Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
