    • Generate new business from leads generated by the marketing team
    • Meeting monthly new business targets
    • Develop close working relationships with the panel of insurers
    • Cross sell products according to demands and needs of the client
    • Assist the directors and other staff members when requested
  • Key skills and experience required:
    • Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance
    • Competent on Acturis, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs
    • Proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Ability to deal with difficult customers and situations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have had a minimum of years’ experience working within the insurance industry

Principal Responsibilities:

  • The summary of the role is to generate new business from leads generated by the marketing team.
  • Meeting monthly new business targets, working closely with the renewals team to management a smooth handover post placement.
  • Develop close working relationships with the panel of insurers.
  • Cross sell products according to demands and needs of the client.
  • Assist the directors and other staff members when requested.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance including but not limited to Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity and Motor Fleet
  • Competent on Acturis, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs
  • Excellent written and telephone skills
  • A proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets
  • To possess excellent sales skills
  • To possess excellent negotiation skills
  • To understand and assist clients and fellow staff members with any Insurance queries:

  • To possess the ability to deal with difficult customers and situations
