Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the management of a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring their tax affairs are handled efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting the tax team with various tasks, including the preparation of P11D(b) and P11D forms for Benefits in Kind
  • Preparing personal tax computations and returns for directors, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts
  • Communicating with clients to address tax queries, concerns, and providing advice
  • Corresponding with HMRC on tax matters and ensuring timely compliance with regulations
  • Supporting clients in managing their personal tax affairs and maintaining up-to-date records

What are we looking for?
  • ATT qualification or be Qualified by Experience (QBE) with recent experience in personal tax
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice
  • Familiarity with tax software such as IRIS (or similar), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with clients and HMRC
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A genuine interest in personal tax and a desire to grow in this field
