Head of Specialist ServicesWe are recruiting an an experienced Head of Specialist Services to oversee and develop services for individuals facing complex needs, including mental health challenges and substance use disorders. This newly restructured role brings together specialist drug, alcohol, and mental health services into one cohesive portfolio, ensuring holistic support and recovery-focused outcomes.

Benefits: 

• Salary banding: £45,500 - £50,500pa DOE
• Hours of work 37hrs - 9am -5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and strategically develop services for clients with complex needs, including mental health issues, substance use, and dual diagnoses.
• Oversee the integration of specialist drug and alcohol services into a unified support model across all sites.
• Build partnerships with local authorities and health services, ensuring timely access to specialist care.
• Manage budgets, monitor service performance, and ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.
• Lead a team of managers, providing training, support, and mentorship to ensure high standards across services.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading complex needs services in homelessness, mental health, or substance use.
• Strong partnership-building skills with specialist providers, including drug, alcohol, and mental health services.
• Excellent leadership and staff development skills, with the ability to inspire high performance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety regulations, and housing management practices.
