We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our educational team at our lovely SEMH School in Southend. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children, particularly in early childhood education settings. This role involves educating and mentoring young learners, ensuring their developmental needs are met while providing engaging and interactive lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the educational needs of children.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Provide individualised support to students, including tutoring and mentoring as needed.
  • Engage in toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
  • Conduct assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and fitness among students.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's educational journeys.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
