We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Stone Mason to join our client's team. Full training will be provided in the processes of milling, shaping, and polishing natural stones among other related tasks. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in the Stone Industry and willing to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Learn and perform tasks related to the milling, shaping, and polishing of natural stones.
- Understand and adhere to all health and safety regulations associated with working in the stone industry.
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
- Enthusiastic and committed to pursuing a career in the Stone Industry.
- Hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.
- Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform computations and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting.
- On-site parking.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30.
- Temporary to Permanent role with salary increments based on performance and experience.
- 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.
