Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Managing customer accounts and maintaining low levels of debt.
- Ensuring timely payment of debts and following up payments as needed.
- Preparing monthly financial statements.
- Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure all invoices are accurate and sent out promptly.
- Dealing with internal queries about payments and ensuring customers pay on time.
- Checking credit ratings of new customers.
- Ensuring good customer service by resolving issues and providing timely feedback.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Experience in Credit Control or a related finance role.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A solid understanding of financial legislation.
- Proficiency in data entry and management.
