Our Client is one of the UK’s leading distributers within the hospitality industry and they are looking to appoint someone to join their team as a Credit Controller.

Previous experience in Credit Control is not essential for this role and is the perfect opportunity for a Finance Graduate or anyone who has a similar background, who would like gain experience in a finance position.

The role would be an initial Maternity Cover up to 03/04/26 with the potential to go Permanent.

ABOUT THE ROLE AS CREDIT CONTROLLER:

  • Process and issue invoices, credit notes and statements to customers
  • Follow the company collection procedure to minimise bad debt
  • Monitor customer credit limits, customer spend and obtain credit reports when required
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to resolve customer queries
  • Generate aged debt reports and make contact calls/emails to gain payment of the overdue
  • Take customer card payments including allocating payments

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (E.g. Formulas, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and work towards meeting deadlines
