They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance department where you will be responsible for ensuring that payments for goods or services are received on time.

Description

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Managing customer accounts and maintaining low levels of debt.
  • Ensuring timely payment of debts and following up payments as needed.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements.
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity.
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure all invoices are accurate and sent out promptly.
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments and ensuring customers pay on time.
  • Checking credit ratings of new customers.
  • Ensuring good customer service by resolving issues and providing timely feedback.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Experience in Credit Control or a related finance role.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial legislation.
  • Proficiency in data entry and management.
