Your new companyHays Education are working with a primary school in Southport who are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to join their school.Your new roleThis is a 1:1 teaching assistant role working with a pupil in year 4 with complex needs. It will involve working within the classroom, providing extra support to the pupils in terms of behaviour and assisting with work. This role will be long term for the right candidate.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS on the update service as well as:

  • Experience in a similar 1:1 teaching assistant role (references needed)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
  • Full-time availability
