Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Support students in overcoming any social, emotional, or academic challenges.
- Work alongside teachers and other support staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND children or adults is highly desirable.
- A Child Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Passion for working with students who have special educational needs, particularly ASD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to show empathy and provide the necessary support for students to thrive.
