We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead and manage a team of seven Commercial Claims Handlers. This role requires a strong leader with a background in commercial claims handling, capable of driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Claims Handlers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Claims Management: Ensure all commercial claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Performance Monitoring: Set objectives, track team performance, and implement improvement strategies where necessary.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve claims outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth claims resolution.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and internal company policies, providing regular reports on claim trends and team performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Claims Manager or Senior Commercial Claims Handler role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of claims professionals.
- A solid understanding of commercial insurance claims, including policy coverage, claims handling processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- The ability to work under pressure, managing multiple claims and priorities effectively.
