We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join a highly reputable and established education provider in the borough of Sefton. As the leader of their accounting activities, you will play a crucial role in enabling and facilitating their future direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial operations for this educational institution, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and develop strategies to support their educational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to make sound financial decisions.
- Oversee a transactional team consisting of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Produce monthly management accounts and submit stat accounts.
- Support the Finance Director in any project work that may be requiredÂ
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in the education sector and a strong understanding of funding is ideal.
- AAT Qualified and working towards CIMA/ACCA qualification.
