Finance Manager – Education

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join a highly reputable and established education provider in the borough of Sefton. As the leader of their accounting activities, you will play a crucial role in enabling and facilitating their future direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial operations for this educational institution, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and develop strategies to support their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to make sound financial decisions.
  • Oversee a transactional team consisting of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and submit stat accounts.
  • Support the Finance Director in any project work that may be required 

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in the education sector and a strong understanding of funding is ideal.
  • AAT Qualified and working towards CIMA/ACCA qualification.
