Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the highly professional team at a Primary School in Southport. The role will be based in the school's dedicated ASD Provision, supporting pupils with complex special educational needs and assisting the class teacher in delivering a high standard of education and care.
The school is a welcoming and nurturing one-form entry school that prides itself on its strong sense of community and commitment to providing a supportive environment for both pupils and staff. They are currently seeking the right candidate to join our team on a temporary contract, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff for the right fit. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs.
- Assist the teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development.
- Work collaboratively with staff to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or proven experience in a similar role.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- A commitment to supporting the ethos of the school.
