EYFS Teaching Assistant
Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work with a school in the Crumpsall. The strongest applicant will have confidence in Mathematics and English.

- Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting Learning Activities: Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Observations and Assessments: Observing children's progress and behaviour and recording observations to inform assessments. Contributing to the planning and evaluation of activities based on children's individual needs and interests.
- Preparing Learning Environment: Setting up and maintaining a stimulating and safe learning environment. Preparing and organising resources and materials for daily activities.
- Supporting Social and Emotional Development: Encouraging positive interactions and social skills among children. Providing emotional support and helping children to develop self-confidence and independence.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and other staff members.
- Behaviour Management: Implementing positive behaviour management strategies to create a supportive and respectful learning environment. Addressing any challenging behaviour in a constructive and consistent manner.
- Inclusive Practices: Adapting activities and resources to meet the diverse needs of the children.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
- Previous experience working with young people.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references.
