A Technical Operations Manager is needed for a Pharmaceutical client located in Southport.
The position offers a salary of £50k per annum along with excellent company benefits.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior technical or operations management role within the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing sector.
Key responsibilities include overseeing production operations, ensuring compliance with GMP and MHRA regulations, and leading health and safety initiatives.
The role also requires strong leadership skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

I am looking for a Technical Operations Manager for my Pharmaceutical client based in Southport.

Salary: £50k p/a + great company benefits

Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities as a Technical Operations Manager:

- Report into Operations Director

- Oversee the full production and operations of liquid pharmaceutical products

- Responsible for process optimisation and technical support

- Collaboration with quality assurance ensuring manufacturing are compliant with GMP.

- Regulatory compliance by ensuring processes are compliant with MHRA requirements.

- Health & safety responsibility by leading implementing safety initiatives and a safety first culture.

- Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience (5+ years) in a senior technical and / or operations management role within the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements (MHRA, Home Office), and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop teams within a production environment.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, R&D, supply chain, and maintenance.
