We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Legal Cashier to join a leading law firm in Southsea.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Process all financial transactions accurately, including receipts, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update client accounts, ensuring all entries are correct and up-to-date.
  • Handle accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and service providers.
  • Prepare financial reports as required, providing insights into cash flow and account balances.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and records as requested.

Skills
