Role Highlights:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support).
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only.
Pay: £80-£120 per day, based on experience.

Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Student between the age of 3-19 with additional needs.
As a 1:1 Teaching assistant you will assist with delivering tailored learning activities to help the pupil achieve their potential.
Encourage positive social interactions and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
The 1:1 teaching assistant will implement behaviour strategies to keep the pupil engaged and on task.
Track progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
