Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer

We are offering a fully funded training programme to prepare you for the EAL Level 3 Award in the Requirements of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, responsible, can communicate effectively, and understands the importance of maintenance on life safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist in the planned maintenance and repairs of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and associated equipment.
To support qualified engineers and gain practical experience on site.
To learn and adhere to British Standards and industry best practices.
To develop skills in fault finding, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years old.
Enthusiastic, practically minded, and keen to learn.
A responsible attitude towards safety-critical systems.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Self-motivated with a willingness to achieve a first-time fix when faced with problems.

Training and Development:

Full in-house training provided by experienced engineers.
Preparation for the EAL Level 3 Award in the Requirements of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings.

A clean driving licence is required (except minor speeding offences).
